Hi,

A newbie question. I saw this in the email archive:

If we have several oracle db replicated by sequoia cluster. How can we
know that different inserts over the same table from different
computers and managed by different sequoia controller will not get the
same primary key ID and multicast this value to the others?

Can we not use the technique of sequence interleaving for the db
replica in the cluster ? For example, say we have a maximum of 10
replica in a cluster, if we can start with 0 with replica-0 and
increment by 10 to get 0, 10, 20, .... and similarly for replica-1 we
start with sequence 1 instead to get 1, 11, 21, ..., etc. The
generated id's will then never collide in the cluster. Can such be
set up in Sequoia ?
