Hi,

I am using sequoia for db clustering. The configuration I have is using 2
controllers, based on JGroup, that run on Windows machines.
One of the machines where I run the sequoia controller, has multiple VMs
installed through vmware, and the controller is running in the native machine,
not in one of the vms.
Because of that, when I load the vdb, it seems that the GMS picks up the IP
address for multicast arbitrarily (it is based on one of the vmware
interfaces), instead of using the physical LAN. Consequently, the controllers
will not see each other. Disabling the vmware networks will fix the issue, as
the GMS address will be now physical LAN-based, and the 2 controllers can see
each other.

I am wondering whether you can give me some advice in regards to this, since I
need to have the vms also working on that machine.

Thanks,
Patricia
