Trajkovic said that after Oliver Ivanovic’s killing on 16 January 2018 in front of his political party office in Mitrovica North, many Serbs feel safer in Pristina rather than in northern part of Kosovo. Belgrade daily Blic reports that Trajkovic made these comments in a meeting dedicated to Ivanovic, who was leader of the Citizens Initiative “Freedom, Democracy, Justice,” which was held on Monday in the city of Kraljeva, Serbia. Four months after his killing authorities in Pristina have not managed to solve the case. “Many Serbs in Kosovo, especially those living in enclaves, feel safer in Pristina than in northern Kosovo,” Trajkovic said.
