Yes, I know that it's difficult, and that's why I asked about an approximate number.
I thought you gave it some tries.
You said that all your unit tests are passed with these new changes. If you used JUnit than you can have approximate timings too compared to the version without changes.

No time differences in the unit test run.

Our current tests are limited and they tests only small test messages so there's no visible improvement.

I will try to add big message tests.

By now the main difference is that if I add a 20MB message to a spooling test I'm able to run it with no OutOfMemory (and with no changes to the default Xmx).
