Hi Bernd,
I just made a test commit in postage and the notification works.
So, feel free to commit your changes.
Sometimes ago I created a pom.xml and a site folder for postage. It is
not complete but it builds and it creates a 2 pages site (copy&paste
from your wiki docs) that we could start including in our current site
under the postage folder.
Should I commit it?
We should also update the source file headers/README/LICENSE/NOTIFY
following the new ASF requirement. I can do this as I already know (or
at least I hope so) what to do, but I'll do this the last week of August.

I also ran into some issues with Postage out of SVN:
-- build.xml needs to be changed, both to change the JAMES
basedir, and to add additional path elements
-- in order to run the tests, it looks for ./conf/postage.xml,
which doesn't exist.
These might be trivial to fix,
right.
but we really ought to make using Postage a
bit more turnkey.
I would have commited build.xml and other changes/improvements some
time ago but since I dont know whether or not svn commit notifications
for postage are set up already, I delayed the commits or put patches
into JIRA.
If I can assist someone doing the SVN administration or re-importing
Postage or doing any other appropriate task, I d be happy to do
that...
Bernd
