I looked at it when you opened the issue.
It contained not only a MailetSDK but a whole restructuring of the
source repository so I decided to not apply it (had no time to extract
only the build/sample part without the changes in the layout of the folders)
(sorry for not being clearer)
i uploaded an example of the end product, not the function required to create it
Furthermore it should be decided wether this SDK belongs to the
mailetapi product we are currenlty voting or to the server product.
this is an orthogonal issue: the mailetSDK is created as a
distributable artifact as part of the current james release. the
proposal is just an improvement of existing function.
PS: my opinion: if you can create a build script that create the
downloadable artifact with what you want to include in it without
changes to our current layout then I would be more happy to see it
included.
changing the ant script to generate the required structure is the
approach i'd adopt, probably factored into a separate build file
(build-mailetsdk.xml). to avoid arguments, i'll put the source for the
samples into src/test.
any objections?
