About the lowercase "u"... Why not just change RemoteDelivery to work
with gatewayusername and gatewayUsername ? If we did the change now we
are more safe in removing the "lowercase" version later. For sure we
have to add it in the UPGRADE docs later.

I would probably prefer to not change the 2.3.1 at this stage.
In trunk we could support both version (we already have similar
"workaround" in few mailets).
