Danny Angus commented on JAMES-837:
-----------------------------------
IMHO this is a defect,
While domain names are case insensitive according to their RFC's the local part
of addresses are not, per the mail RFC's.
However, because James allows non compliant handling of local-parts
case-insensitively, sense would tell us that this setting must apply to all
uses of the local-part by James.

> How do I make the verify identity to be case insensitive?
> Even if though user name is case insensitive, if user puts in email address
> with mixed or upper case, it will not match and rejects the email.
