Thanks for the advices. >> I have decided to apply for https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MAILBOX-44. >> All I have to do now is write my application. I also applyed for a >> GSoC project on Debian, about packaging jigsaw - modular java (java 8 >> is targeted) but I think this project is more suited for me because I >> am interested in becoming a java developer. >> Besides that, if I will get selected to work on this project I will >> get to be familiar with the Apache community and maybe more Apache >> software will find it's way into Debian. I noticed james is not in >> Debian..yet :D. > > :-) > >> I will work on my application. I have submitted my application. It's not much different from the information in the ticket but I have a school project due today, and I had to prepare. I am very enthusiastic and if I like something I usually jump right at it, without giving it much thought. James is a nice project and the project looks very interesting. I just hope it is not too much for me to handle. I will look into it, hopefully in time to update my application with a proper schedule. > If you sign to JIRA, then a good way to get feedback is by adding > comments to https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MAILBOX-44 Ok, I will use that. I will also make time to send the patch for the site.
