welcome :) You need to install maven3 to build james. Just download the
tar.gz, unpack it and use it. You can find it here:

MAILBOX-45 (Design and Implement Mailbox with NoSQL Storage) is very close
to MAILBOX-44 (Design and implement a distributed mailbox using Hadoop) (I
forgot to put MAILBOX-44 in the list).
I proposed MAILBOX-44 which is a direct implementation of the Mailbox API on

mailbox).
The project failed to build on my machine. I am running stock Debian
Squeeze amd64.
It complained about maven-site-plugin requiring maven3. I have
attached the build log and
the information about the version of maven installed on Debian.
I will try to find a solution to this problem. I have tried skiping
the site building part by eliminating the site building (and the
dependency on site-plugin) but it did not work.

also read/comment :)
