The parent pom (http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/james/server/trunk/pom.xml?view=markup) is not in the staging repository. If we don't release it then we can't release app depending on it. Maybe the generated artifacts for that pom module are missing for the same reason (the source tarball/zip is generated using the "apache-release" profile while releasing).
