Adhish commented on JAMES-1480:
-------------------------------
Eric
I just wanted to update you that I was able to switch to Sun/Oracle javamail,
but I was having performance issues.
The way I resolved my issue was by moving from derby to store my email to
maildir format. Now my performance is much better as well.
One thing I did notice was that even though I deleted all my email from my
inbox, the derby folder was still 1.7G in size. It appears that deleting the
mail does not actually delete it.
I have no such issues when I use maildir.
Thanks
Adhish
