Adhish commented on JAMES-1480: ------------------------------- Eric I have updated MAILBOX-194 because the derby db growth issue was a configuration problem caused by me storing Sent emails that I wasn't aware of. The original issue with being unable to close POP3 connections properly under high load when using Derby still remains. FYI, the derby folder was about 3Gigs in size. Thanks Adhish > Unable to remove messages in POP3 when the client closes the connection > (under high load) > ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: JAMES-1480 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JAMES-1480 > Project: James Server > Issue Type: Bug > Components: POP3Server > Affects Versions: 3.0-beta4 > Reporter: Adhish > > When trying to delete messages when closing a POP3 connection, the POP3 > server throws an error: > Some deleted messages were not removed > java.io.IOException: Unable to remove messages for ranges [TYPE: RANGE UID: > 102383:102390 > This only seems to happen when there is a large volume of incoming messages > while we are trying to POP and delete messages -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
