David Leangen commented on JAMES-3240: -------------------------------------- When removing the file `jmx.properties`, there is a logging warning, but otherwise apparently no problem: {noformat} james_1 | 06:29:01.436 [INFO ] o.a.j.CONFIGURATION - Load configuration file /opt/apache-james/james-basic-server/conf/jmx.properties james_1 | 06:29:01.437 [WARN ] o.a.j.m.s.JMXServerModule - Could not locate configuration file for JMX. Defaults to rmi://127.0.0.1:9999 {noformat} It would be nice not to have this warning at all, but that is a separate issue. I will close this one as it is now resolved. > Clarify JMX Configuration (jmx.properties) > ------------------------------------------ > > Key: JAMES-3240 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JAMES-3240 > Project: James Server > Issue Type: Sub-task > Reporter: David Leangen > Priority: Major > > In the context of the *Basic Server*, determine if (1) this configuration is > necessary, and if so (2) how can we minimize it and (3) document it better. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.3.4#803005) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: server-dev-unsubscr...@james.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: server-dev-h...@james.apache.org
