I have personnally no problem with contribution: - Allow subclassing of Username if that can help. - Introduce a (say) LoginName POJO within /protocols/imap - Anything helping modularizing protocols/imap But changing such a central class for a specific use case, in the scope of the entire James server, do not seem acceptable to me.
