FYI I tried as well, on a secondary desktop where I just have an old maven
3.6.3 and java 11.0.21, no scala neither sbt installed, built with no issues.
I might think like Tung above, maybe some corrupt packages in your maven local
repository? What command do you use to run the build?
I did: `mvn clean install -DskipTests`
You might want to clean up you local .m2 repository as well, or clean up the
dependency causing issue at least
If you still have problem, thanks to post the full error stack trace this time
too, that would help us greatly
