Good afternoon all, I am trialling james for a few clients I have that are using dialup for their internet. I have managed to install james, add myself as a user, set up a gateway, send myself emails. its all great!
now I am trying to work out how to deal with the case of a dial-in connection on win2k. (hey the clients want windows dont shoot me!) I have read so much doco its seems I am going in circles now, I have looked thru the archives but saw nothing that seemed appropriate. so my question is.. 1. James to initiate modem dial out when there are a few emails in the queue, or its been an hour... how to? 2. I dont want the emails going undeliverable if the connection is dropped and theres no DNS. How to avoid? any comments from people who have tried this are welcome! regards Brian. a.k.a. latest newbie.
