I do, too, but I don’t think that his problem was indicative of the norm.
Few users edit every path, and if he had noticed the instructions related to
the file protocol, he could have avoided the problem, too.

That is only for the first, initial, startup. In fact, if you organize it
this way:
/opt/
/james -> /opt/james
/james-<version>
/apps
/james -> /home/james
...
/home
/james
/SAR-INF
/var
...
you can easily upgrade.

Danny and Vincenzo each have slightly different variations on the code. I
am hoping that in September, they can merge what they have done, and get it
into the distribution.
I’ll be setting that up the Bayesian filter, myself, soon, so I’m curious to
hear about the issue(s) you encountered. I’m sure that Danny and Vincenzo
will likewise want to hear.

In fairness, you raised the issue on Sunday, posted a stack trace on
Tuesday, and were fixed on Wednesday. In retrospect, when I saw your post
on Tuesday, I had some concerns about the bug being in the DNS code; I
should have followed up on that feeling, but this is one of the only real
bugs we’ve ever encountered in his code. Ironically, he had fixed it
earlier, and I’d thought to put in a newer version of his code, but when I
had looked at his web site, he already had a fix for new bug in a version we
didn’t have, so I figured that we could wait for his development to settled
down before we moved forward.
