As I said it's working great but I'm a little worried about memory usage. For example when I fetchmail a multi megabyte mail, the memory usage explodes and stays high.
I've added the -Xloggc:<xxx> option to get a log from the Garbage Collector.
With GCViewer (http://www.tagtraum.com/gcviewer.html) I've analyzed the log and it shows what I expected: When handling a multi megabyte mail the memory usage explodes and stays high at least for a very long time.
Does your analysis tell you where the memory is allocated? Knowing what phase of message processing we are in would help identify any possible solutions.

No, its doesn't say anything about this, only that a lot of memory are allocated. It happens when fetching or sending big mails but I haven't yet seen it when pop'ing mails.
BTW I'm using MySQL as repository. Don't know if this has anything with the huge memory usage to do.
