Thank you for the response, and I am sorry for lack of information presented.
Technical data: Linux RH 9 MySQL 4.0.18 James 2.1.3 Java 1.4.1 RAM 1GB Disk Space 160GB I had a lot of problem with James using MySQL due to fact that when too many records from inbox were deleted the spool table got corrupted, thus nothing would work. So going through Stop James -> drop spool table -> Start James, things got working. So I moved to file based repository and re-introducing he users I was able to start the James, BUT I found out that I have changed the name of once of the users and I was running out of memory (160GB!!). I found out it was a mail being sent (over and over again) to postmaster about a user not found. I changed back the name and things seems ok now! During the iniatl stages (few weeks back) by using a script I found on the net, I could start the james as a daemon, but now that doesn't work so I have to run the james/bin/run.sh every time I need to re-boot the system... Any suggetions about the daemon start, please? Regards Bahman ----- Original Message ----- From: "Noel J.
