What it is about is that one of our contributors, Craig Raw, wants to be
able to handle WINMAIL.DAT attachments, as you can see from the subject. He
mentioned your code, I mentioned the GPL problem, Steven mentioned an
alternative to your package, and Craig mentioned that you had been talking
with POI, and were willing to change the license. That pretty much sums up
how we got here. :-)
I didn't see anything in the POI discussion that led me to believe there
were any IP problems with your code, other than use of the GPL. Can you
elaborate on the issues that POI had? Or were those unrelated to your
contribution?
