We have always used file repositories. It has the advantage that you can
easily inspect a queue and manually delete files from it. So far, it has
not been a performance bottleneck.

I have never tried a database repository, so I don't know how it
compares. I am also quite curious to hear more on the subject.

Cheers,

        Hes.

Subject: File Repositories vs. Database (JDBC) Repositories

Is there any doc discussing the subject? Any comment from yur
experience? Note: I am thinking to use just NNTP service.
Browsing the web I just found this page:
http://james.apache.org/repositories_2_1.html where really it is not
discussed in much detail.

Any comment will be appreciated,

     Chemi.
