Then please compare the 2 folders (working/nonworking) and tell us what
the difference are.

Similar results on command line. I either get a out of memory or James seems to
run but doesn't connect to port 25.
I have installed another copy of 2.2 in a different folder
on the same machine/drive and here James starts up w/out any issues
and w/out having to specify more memory.
I can swap out config.xml files between the two folders. As best as I can
tell, I can not get my orginal instance of James to start but the new
installation does.
