If you add "<manager-adaptor-host>0.0.0.0</manager-adaptor-host>" to your MX4JSystemManager configuration it should bind to all interfaces and not only localhost.
Are you sure it works? I configured kernel.xml as you suggest..but it seems not to work. Looking in MX4JSystemManager source code (org.apache.avalon.phoenix.components.manager.MX4JSystemManager in Phoenix-4.0.1) it seems not to handle any tag named "manager-adaptor-host". fabio On 6/1/06, Stefano Bagnara <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:

Please note that the service will be accessible to anyone that can reach your machine so you should limit the access to that service using a firewall.
