Are you sure it works?
I configured kernel.xml as you suggest..but it seems not to work.
Looking in MX4JSystemManager source code
(org.apache.avalon.phoenix.components.manager.MX4JSystemManager in
Phoenix-4.0.1) it seems not to handle any tag named
"manager-adaptor-host".
Sorry, I was referring to the phoenix we use in trunk and 2.3.
Maybe the old phoenix does not support this.
You can either open a local tcp forwarder or try one of our 2.3 build:
we are releasing 2.3.0b1 ...
