Hi, If you copy them into the spool and restart the server it should resend them to your inbox. If you already had those messages at one time, your mail client thinks you have already downloaded them. If you resend them it might see them as new somehow. This is pure speculation, but worth a shot.

How can I move inbox messages from one server toanother? Ok I took up your advice and tried simply copying it. Doesn't work. I copy the 2 files that come with a message (one is the actual message, the other looks like some sort of a binary file describing it) - and they just sit there and nothing happens. When I try to download my mail nothing happens - no errors or anything, just as if those messages weren't there. -----Original Message----- From: Norman Maurer [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, October 05, 2006 11:46 PM To: James Users List Subject: Re: PLEASE! Then it should be enough to copy the "var" folder. bye Norman Ivan Jouikov schrieb: > I'm pretty sure it's file, all info is stored on disc in var/mail/inbox/... > > As for the version - the latest one (not the RC one but the stable one > before that) > -----Original Message----- > From: Joachim Draeger [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Thursday, October 05, 2006 11:03 PM > To: James Users List > Subject: Re: PLEASE!
