I got it to run! I thought I would let you know that in addition to
following your instructions re: <spoolrepository>, I also had to remove
all reference to <objectstorage>. I believe that the upgrade
instructions could be made clearer (at
http://james.apache.org/server/2.3.0/upgrade_instructions.html), viz.,
explicit instructions to remove the outer spoolrepository element, and
maybe show a clear example of how to get rid of <objectstorage> correctly.
