But how to get the pid's of the process generated by Phoenix?
That is something like:
James Mail Server 2.3.0
Remote Manager Service started plain:nnnn
POP3 Service started plain:nnn
SMTP Service started plain:nn
NNTP Service started plain:nnn
Those aren't process IDs, they're port numbers.
I'm reasonably certain that James only runs a single process (it runs
inside a single JVM), which has the ID given when Phoenix starts.
If you forget/lose that PID, you can always run
ps | grep /path/to/james
which will give you the process information about the Java process
running James.
