Thank you for that Norman.
The solution works, the only problem, it needs to work for any given
domain on the net. Meaning xyz.com can be anything! As long as
tracker.com is appended to the end of the email address, the server
needs to be able to receive it, process it, and forward it on.
Thank you!
This way you will act like an open relay and spammers will be really
happy to abuse of you ;-)
So, if you do something similar, make sure that you accept mail only
from authenticated users/hosts.
If under this "authenticated" restriction it is acceptable to treat mail
to @xyz.com.track.com or mail to @xyz.com as the same then you will have
to simply to add a mailet that rewrite mail to
(.*)@(.*).track.com to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
For the matcher you can use "RecipientIsRegexp=(.*)@(.*).track.com"
while you will have to write your own mailet to do the rewriting and to
Add an image footer.
The mail will then be forwarded to the right host by the RemoteDelivery.
Please note that to do so James would be like an open relay so you will
have to really take care of who you accept mail from.
