Hi,
~
I had these three questions and found myself searching for the answers for
too long. The thing is that I have never run myself a mail server even
though I have plenty of experience running java-based web servers
~
1.) Are there any benchmarks/feature comparisons of how JAMES pairs up with
other Mail servers? I really don't care much about fancy client stuff
~
2.) Say I run a number of sites using tomcat's virtual hosting. "site1.org"
and "site2.net" how well would JAMES do some kind of virtual mapping of
these URLs to mail servers "@site1.org" and "@site2.net" and what else does
it entail? How is this done? Any tutorials out there?
~
3.) How well would JAMES integrate with Tomcat to create webmail in a secure
manner (only those accessing "site1.org" can get to their "@site1.org" mail
content)?
~
4.) Who/what system actually uses JAMES?
~
Thanks
lbrtchx
