you'r the MAN!! it's working!.. how hard to you think it will be build the sar with Maven? i could help! i believe Maven is a better tool and i would prefer to use it... but since some developers prefer Ant , maybe we can have both build tools updated and building the complete distribution...

I agree. Every tool having m2 bindings (an m2 plugin) is much more simple to run when the poms are there. I think that the idea of having a standard descriptor to define where the sources are, where the resources are, where the tests are, what the dependencies are (the POM) is great.
