Thanks. But any ideas why this user's Thunderbird might be sending CAPA? Is it some configuration in Thunderbird?

I have a client who is unable to access his inbox. I turned on POP
trace. He is using Thunderbird. I show a POP login in the trace
followed by a couple of "CAPA" commands with "ERR" responses.

I'm not that familiar with all of the POP commands. So I don't know
which ones are typically used. I don't see many other CAPA commands in
the log. But every time one appears James responds with ERR.

Can you educate me on what is happening here? Why does James not like
CAPA? Is my client's Thunderbird misconfigured?

POP3 Extension Mechanism

-----------------
An -ERR response indicates the capability command is not
implemented and the client will have to probe for
capabilities as before.

It is an optional addon to the POP3 protocol. It is not supported by
JAMES POP3 Server, that correctly reply -ERR.
