what i forgot to mention was that, i managed to disable the firewall in my local machine. With that, I could telnet to smtp.gmail.com 465 and smtp.mail.yahoo.com 25 without any problem. The only thing i couldn't do was that i was not able to send out the mail as the two files were stucked in the mail/outgoing folder as described below in below. Could you advise me what configuration i have set wrong?
