Thanks Phillip! It seems it does work. I had to rename "mailetcontainer-template.conf" to "mailetcontainer.conf" and remove/comment "remotedelivery mailet".
I have another question, I see this message on James that when I try to send mail, it is being stored in relay-denied, does that mean whenever someone try to send message, it will be just stored there and I need to monitor and cleanup that file time to time? * INFO | james.mailetcontext | Storing mail Mail1382112892041-93d827 da-9ba7-4885-9fa1-2a7fe80af8b4 in file://var/mail/relay-denied/* Thank you, Giri On Thu, Oct 17, 2013 at 5:58 PM, Phillip Odam <[email protected]>wrote: > If you remove/comment out the remotedelivery mailet in > conf/mailetcontainer.conf and restart james that should do the trick. > > > On 10/17/13 5:23 PM, Girivaraprasad Nambari wrote: > >> Hi All, >> >> Can someone please guide me? >> >> How can I disable outgoing emails from James? >> >> I understood that James use "RemoteDelivery" mailet to handle out going >> SMTP, but not sure how to disable this. >> >> Any help would be appreciated. >> >> Thanks for your time and help. >> >> Thank you, >> Giri >> >> > > ------------------------------**------------------------------**--------- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: > server-user-unsubscribe@james.**apache.org<[email protected]> > For additional commands, e-mail: > [email protected].**org<[email protected]> > >
