Disable opening rmi port 1099

We are deploying our servicemix app as a webapp under tomcat. We are  
running tomcat configured for remote jmx on 9004 via java5 and the -D  
startup options. Servicemix appears to be opening its own jmx remote  
connector using rmi port 1099. Is this required internally? Can it be  
disabled somehow? I would prefer to use only the one we've configured  
for Tomcat.
