Erik,
You're right: there is problem with a file in the public repository that
is probably causing this. A workaround would be to download the
3.1.1-incubating version from subversion and build it locally, so all
the correct files end up in your local repository (from
http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/incubator/servicemix/tags/servicemix-3.1.1/).
You can also only get the pom.xml file from this location and copy it to
you local repository manually, I think.
