It seems to work fine now! I also had to remove (part of ...) my local repository to get Maven to download this file again but it did so successfully.

I find it odd that I did not encounter this issue because I completely
moved aside my local repo so it would force Maven to download
everything. At any rate, I've replaced the bad POM and regenerated the
MD5 and SHA1 checksums. Can you test it out?
