Unless you need this other servlet for maintaining any other connection
information, you can actually do what u want to do with one servlet. Within that
servlet, create an object of a class which actually does all the selects,
updates, deletes, inserts...whatever. You can use the servlet to pass the
parameters required for doing all the above-mentioned data manipulation(SQL).

This might not have answered your question...just a thought!
