Recently I proposed a project to build an open source Java indexing
software, in the Java-Apache project (http://java.apache.org/, see the
java-apache mailing list). What I was looking for were a few interested
parties that could help in coding a first version, and this is hard to
find.
In the next few days I'll put on that mailing list a summary of what
I've found, including current indexing software, my design ideas, what a
new indexing engine should offer, etc. Nothing special but you may want
to look at it.
