I am learning about Servlets. I am using a 30 day trial of Sun's Web Server
and while I love it, I may not be able to convince the company to buy it. In
any event, our Web site and Intranet are on IIS. I have seen references to
an add-on or something that will allow me to run Servlets on IIS. Is there
such a thing?

Depends on what servlet engine you will use for Apache.
Servlet Chains are not "standard" - even if few engines supports them,
you should be very carefull.
( you can live without them in most cases - i.e. you can code the chaining
functionality inside your servlet )
