What I MEANT to say was:
Rule is:
if there is a dot after the last slash then you can use the part
after the dot as a file extension.
This would work, apart from the case where there is extra path info.
This is much what I said yesterday.
However, the issue now is:
Is extra path information allowed after (an arbiritrary) filename?
For example: /foo.html/some/more/path/info/file.jsp
Craig and Gabriel both think that's ok but James says no.
Can we have a ruling? James? Can you confirm? Perhaps update the spec
(not sure this is appropriate since it is after all, just a URL and
anything can be put in there).
