We implemented RMI Servlet on server side in order to solve the problem of
RMI direct socket connection won't go through most of the firewall.

But, based on Chapter 10 in "Java Servlet Programming", one of the
disadvantages of RMI is : "All versions of Microsoft's Internet Explorer do
not support RMI without installing a special plug-in". ???? Is there any
work around to solve this problem ?

Thanks in advance for any help !
