I am looking for about 10 folks who would be serious about testing some
software, my ServletActionBroker framework. The current Beta is
available at www.gallaware.com.
I am making available the Beta 2 of ServletActionBroker by March 10,
1999. With this release, I will need to have some testers to ensure its
quality. The enhancements for this release include:
1) Optional method parameters for servlet methods
2) A security model to protect the entire servlet or specific
methods. This model is built upon the base ServletActionBroker, and
takes care of the username/password data and provides a default
'unauthorized' response. However, it allows the developer to plug in an
authentication scheme so that users can be validate with either a simple
array, a JNDI connection, or whatever suites his/her needs.
Beta 3 will hopefully include automatic handling of multipart data, and
introduce a FileUpload object to fit within the framework.
The final version will include a Wizard and other development tools that
will make creating servlets within this framework very easy.
Those who are interested will recieve the final release without
