There's quite a few people on the list who are workming with LDAP and
servlets.
On a basic level it's very easy to do.
My own servlet engine, Paperclips, has a modular authentication
system that could easily be adapted to authenticate users by LDAP.
You may want to look at it, you can find it at:

You'll have to download quite a large ZIP file with the source, exe
JAR and javadoc in it.

would like to know how much support the
servlet API gives for working with the LDAP and
its related areas.
We are trying to use the LDAP for our user Database
and Authentication.
If some one has worked on LDAP please let me know
on how to access the LDAP data and to manipulate
the LDAP data from the Servlets.
