Mallik,
I have written several servlets which access data through LDAP protocol. The
approach I have taken is to use the Java Naming and Directory Interface,
JNDI, with the LDAP service provider. Both of these packages are available
from the Javasoft products site. I elected to use JNDI because the LDAP
service provider was simple to setup and avoided some problems I had found
in the Netscape Java LDAP package I tried at that time. JNDI also provides
the same basic interface for other directory styles.
