As I understand same thing applies to NT. They have the 'at service' that
can run a batch at a
specified time. Worth try

This seems like doing the 'crontab' job on UNIX. Is the database on UNIX?
If so you can't you just manipulate the crontab file directly or through a
script
controlled by your servlet. In other word your servlet is nothing but a
front end to
the contrab.

Hello,
Does anyone know how to use a servlet to make sure that a database con
not be written to after a supposed date?
I.e. say that after 3:00 today I could stop users writing to the
database, and then commit all info?
