Not to mention that they just plumb don't scale well, due to a variety of
poor choices in the design of the implementation.  Don't know if that
matters to you, though, if you're a small shop...

As another poster mentioned, servlets actually correspond to ISAPI, both
of which scale quite well.  (Though servlets are more robust due to the
difference in language.)
