You map multiple tools to the .jar extension and pick the one you want to
run from the menu when you click the right mouse button on the file.  There
are actually capabilities within the Windows OS that allow you to map
multiple MIME types to a single file format and have the right tool executed
depending on content.  I believe it requires writing a DLL and mapping it in
the Registry.  So the OS's are smart enough.
