Any good Java development environment should be good for developing
servlets, so use whatever you are used to.
Personally, my favorite environment is CodeWarrior from Metrowerks
<http://www.metrowerks.com/>. It has some problems (the debugger likes to
crash a bit too often), but it is very flexible. I tried Microsoft's Visual
J++ (because we already had licenses for it), but I didn't like it because
it required me to use Microsoft's VM, which I didn't want to use.
Other people like other IDEs, and some people think the best thing to do is
use vi or emacs and the command-line compiler.
