You don't really need VA Enterprise to debug servlets! The professional
edition works just fine.

What you do, is just create a project to contain your servlet runner.
Import all of the .jar files that make up that servlet runner.
Find the class that starts up the servlet runner. In its "properties", set
its class path to include your "servlet" project as well as any other
projects that may contain classes that your servlets need. (eg. jdbc
drivers, MQ classes, etc...)

I have successfully done this with both WebSphere and JRun.
(note, you can only have one servlet runner environment present in the
workspace at a time.)
